The Opportunity

We are looking for a proactive and strategic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our corporate office in Fort Wayne, IN. This is a crucial role where you will be an internal expert, responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for our own critical recruiting, sales, operations, and leadership positions. You will directly impact the growth and success of our teams and markets across Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Louisville/Jeffersonville, and Northwest Ohio.

What You Will Do:

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Take ownership of the entire recruitment lifecycle for open positions. This includes creating compelling job descriptions that reflect our mission, screening resumes, conducting in-depth interviews, and negotiating and extending offers.
  • Talent Pipelining: Proactively build and nurture a strong pipeline of passive candidates for future opportunities. You will use a variety of tools and platforms, including our proprietary systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, social media, and local community events to cultivate relationships with qualified individuals who align with the Spherion brand.
  • Business Partnership: Act as a strategic partner to our franchise owners and internal leadership across our different markets. You will gain a deep understanding of their specific hiring needs, team dynamics, and business goals to make placements that make a real difference.
  • Employer Branding: Serve as a brand ambassador for Spherion. You will help promote our unique culture and values to attract high-quality candidates who are passionate about our mission of helping others succeed.
  • Candidate Experience: Champion a positive and engaging experience for every candidate. This means providing timely, empathetic, and professional communication throughout the hiring process, embodying Spherion's value of being engaged with a true interest in their success.
  • Process Improvement: Track and analyze key recruitment metrics to continuously measure effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure a streamlined, efficient, and insight-driven hiring process.

Who You Are:

  • 2-4 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • A proven ability to recruit for a variety of roles, including sales, operations, and leadership positions.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment marketing, employer branding, and modern talent acquisition best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with a high degree of emotional intelligence.
  • A self-starter with a proactive mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruiting software.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to our various market locations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is a plus.

What We Offer:

  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
  • 401(k) with company match up to 4%.
  • Paid time off and holidays.
  • A supportive, values-driven team environment where you can truly see the impact of your work on both individuals and the community.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and career development within a nationally recognized brand.
