About the Role

We are looking for a PA Licensed Prosthetist or Prosthetist Orthotist (or License Eligible) to provide prosthetic care for amputees at our office in Erie, PA and rehabilitation centers in and around the Erie, PA area. You'll work with a great team of individuals supporting your growth through new and innovative technology like 3d scanning, CAD modification and 3d printing. Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' needs through physical examinations and consultations to determine appropriate prosthetic or orthotic solutions.
  • Design, fabricate, and fit prosthetic and orthotic devices while ensuring patient comfort and functionality.
  • Provide patient education on device usage and care, emphasizing communication skills to enhance understanding.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation, adhering to medical terminology and aseptic techniques.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.

Qualifications

  • Must either possess a Pennsylvania Prosthetist License or be license eligible.

Required Skills

  • Knowledgeable in all areas of prosthetic care.
  • Has experience treating patients of all ages.
