The ideal Project Manager (PM) candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the construction project from planning to implementation
- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
- Conduct team meetings. kick-off meetings. weekly project update meetings.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
- Establish job processes (RFIs, submittals, and pay applications) including approving pay applications and negotiating subcontract change orders in computer-based systems such as ProCore and Archinet.
- Set project timeline and schedule
- Monitor project deliverables
- Manage the closeout process efficiently including all building permits
Qualifications
- 7+ Years of experience in a project management role working in New York City
- Prior experience in executing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Carry oneself as a leader and knowledge holder of the project while facilitating the decision-making process
- Communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally, with a strong ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Master of sector/project-specific software systems including but not limited to: Microsoft Office suite (ex. Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint. etc.), ProCore, Adobe, and BlueBeam
