Procurement Manager – Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) | Capital Projects

AD Energy is partnering with a fast-growing renewable natural gas (RNG) developer that specializes in wastewater and agricultural waste-to-energy solutions. This innovative organization builds, owns, and operates RNG facilities that transform organic waste into clean fuel, water, and soil-enhancing by products—delivering powerful sustainability and economic benefits to local communities.
As part of their continued expansion, we are hiring a Procurement Manager to join their Capital Projects team and support the delivery of high-variability, project-based procurement across a portfolio of RNG facilities. This role plays a critical part in driving cost efficiency, supply chain performance, and construction excellence across both major capital builds and day-to-day plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead procurement activities across capital construction projects and operational facilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with project budgets, schedules, and quality standards
- Coordinate complex procurement activities, including custom equipment sourcing and interpreting technical drawings
- Manage purchase requisitions, approvals, and issuance of POs
- Support subcontracting efforts: bid evaluations, scope alignment, and contract execution
- Track logistics, shipping, customs clearance, and deliveries
- Maintain oversight of inventory levels, spare parts ordering, and warehousing
- Evaluate and qualify suppliers capable of supporting complex industrial capital projects
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, plant staff, and executive stakeholders
- Mentor junior procurement staff and contribute to a culture of accountability and improvement

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or similar
- 3–5 years of experience in procurement, subcontracting, logistics, or materials management
- Experience supporting both capital project delivery and operating facilities
- Proven ability to manage POs, contracts, and project documentation
- Familiarity with supplier sourcing for complex industrial systems
- Logistics coordination experience across multiple sites
- Inventory/spare parts management exposure
- Ability to travel ~10–15% to project sites and supplier locations
Preferred (Not Required):
- CPSM, PMP, or CMRP certification
- Experience aligning sourcing decisions with engineering and plant operations
- Background in lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
- Exposure to supplier diversity or inclusive sourcing programs
