Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Project Manager to join their client's team. This full-time, onsite position is based in an exciting and dynamic environment, offering a salary range of $79,000-$80,000 per year. The Maintenance Project Manager will lead property maintenance and capital improvement projects, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance across all operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage capital improvements and maintenance initiatives across multiple properties, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop preventative maintenance schedules, assign tasks, and implement inspection protocols to maintain property standards.
- Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with service providers to ensure quality and cost-effective services.
- Hire, train, and supervise maintenance technicians, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Track expenses and manage departmental budgets, providing regular financial updates to stakeholders.
- Lead urgent repair efforts and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve emergency maintenance issues swiftly and effectively.
- Ensure adherence to safety codes and environmental regulations, maintaining compliance with all relevant standards.
- Provide regular updates on maintenance activities, costs, and equipment performance to leadership and stakeholders.
- Conduct routine property inspections to identify and prioritize repairs, ensuring the continuous upkeep of facilities.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and maintenance practices.
- Experience managing projects from bidding to completion, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and problem-solving, able to address issues quickly and effectively.
- Proven ability in team management and delegation, fostering a productive work environment.
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with staff, vendors, and leadership.
- Expertise in budgeting and cost analysis to manage and optimize financial resources.
- Preferred: Background in construction or building trades.
Requirements
- High School Diploma (some college preferred).
- California Real Estate License (preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Property Management.
- Intermediate computer proficiency.
- Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts.
