RESPONSIBILITIES:
Meet the ever increasing productivity, reliability, safety, environmental and quality demands while providing management to a multi-tasked production crew to accomplish production schedules, respective HSE and quality requirements, within schedule, personnel, reliability and budget constraints.
- Provide training and development to the personnel
- Identify hazards, assess risks, and institute controls to ensure safe, efficient work performance on all assigned tasks.
- Develop, document, and update all Standard Work Practices (SWP's)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working in an aluminum reduction operation with some previous supervisory/team leadership experience or training.
- Individuals with strong, demonstrated team leadership/supervisory, production experience in aluminum reduction or other heavy industry are preferred.
- Advanced education and/or experience in a technical related field, or college degree is preferred.
- Understanding of root cause methodology, basic mathematical skills, and the drive to learn statistical tools.
- Flexibility to work across multiple departments and shifts.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Health, safety and environmentally focused.
- Must possess good interpersonal, organizing, problem solving, facilitation, coaching, motivation, and communication skills.
