Founded by Rich Bello, co-founder and former COO of Blue Ridge Capital, Arootah leverages deep industry expertise to drive peak performance for executives, teams, and firms across the alternative investments landscape.Our Services Include:Advising alternative investment managers with operations, due diligence, compliance, business development, and marketing strategiesProviding fractional expert advisors in key operational areas for emerging and established investment firmsOffering executive, life, health, and career coaching for individualsDelivering talent acquisition and leadership development solutionsDeveloping SaaS applications for enterprise and consumer useWho We Need:Arootah is seeking an ICF-accredited Executive Coach with significant alternative investment industry experience, or extensive experience coaching within the alternative investment space, to join our Coaching Department. You will work closely with the Global Head of Coaching, CEO Rich Bello, and the internal Coaching Team to further Arootah's mission of doing the greatest good for the greatest number.As the Director of Alts Executive Coaching, your primary focus will be driving sales, revenue growth, and business development—especially pitching and selling to the alternative investment (Alts) industry, its service providers, and other industries outside this space. While this role also includes coaching executives directly, the bulk of your responsibilities will be establishing processes and procedures for effective coaching engagements, expanding client relationships, and supporting the Global Head of Coaching in growing Arootah's coaching business unit. You will also play a key role in hiring, training, and managing Arootah's team of contract Executive Coaches.We are looking for a team-oriented, entrepreneurial-minded professional who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is dedicated to delivering high-impact results.What You'll Do

  • Collaboratewith the Global Head of Coaching to drive revenue growth, expand client relationships, and seize new opportunities in developing the coaching business unit, specifically within the Alts space but also outside of it.
  • Consultwith our Sales team to create and deliver effective B2B Coaching Pitches to the alternative investment industry and other sectors
  • Be the go-to personfor Arootah's database of Executive, Leadership, and Career Coaches, maintaining mutually positive coach relationships.
  • GrowArootah's Coaching database by recruiting and hiring top Executive, Leadership, and Career Coaches in the industry
  • MonitorCoach satisfaction with feedback surveys, and when needed, draw up actionable improvement plans
  • Become an experton Arootah's Suite of Tools, Coaching Processes, and Coaching Platform.
  • Host trainings and office hoursfor both our internal team and contracted Coaches to ensure that all team members are trained in our coaching processes, best practices, and suite of tools
  • Collaboratewith Arootah's customer success team to support coach-client matching and ensure the successful delivery of our coaching and leadership development training programs
  • Drivea portion of your time coaching executives as well—though this is not the primary focus of the role, it is essential for maintaining hands-on knowledge of our offerings and best practices
  • Participatein remote team meetings
  • Maintain and sharedetailed and accurate records of coaching results (themes, challenges, breakthroughs, etc.).

  • An experienced coach who has worked with C-suite executives in the finance industry, preferably in alternative investments
  • Enthusiastic about technology and eager to leverage apps and software to enhance coaching partnerships and client engagement.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, ensuring seamless execution of coaching engagements

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in executive coaching
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 360 Assessment experience / certification
  • Experience coaching C-suite executives
  • Located in the New York tri-state area
  • Experience facilitating both online and in-person trainings, workshops, and/or seminars
  • Professional experience in the Alts industry (private equity, hedge funds, venture capital, real assets) or broader financial services — or extensive experience coaching in these areas
  • Passion for helping others improve their productivity, performance, and leadership skills
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse, global stakeholders
  • Superior emotional intelligence and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
PREFERRED:
  • ICF Accredited (preferred)
  • Hogan certification is strongly preferred
  • DiSC and/or EQ-i assessment experience is a plus
  • Experience working and collaborating with remote teams
