Role Description

We're looking for an Assistant Director/Stage Manager who thrives in organized chaos — the kind of person who keeps a cool head in a storm of whispered secrets and half-spilled martinis.

This role bridges the creative and operational — supporting the Director in realizing the show's vision while managing cast, crew, and rehearsal processes. Perfect for someone eager to step up in theatre and hungry to direct.Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between Director, cast, and crew during rehearsals and performances.
• Assist in casting and audition logistics.
• Build and maintain the tech script; call cues during performances.
• Oversee daily operations of the show, ensuring creative integrity across the run (acting as the resident director).
• Support technical and production needs in a fast-paced, unconventional space.

Requirements

• Prior stage management or assistant direction experience (immersive or unconventional spaces a plus).
• Passion for theatre — especially immersive or site-specific work.
• Strong multitasking, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to commit to rehearsals and full performance run (Fall 2025).

Timeline & Pay

• Performances: October–December 2025 (limited run, potential extension); 4-5 performance days per week; tentative call time on performance day: 4-11pm.
• Competitive weekly rate; commensurate with experience.
