Our goals quickly broadened from the mere provision of food and shelter and simple survival, to understanding and working toward overcoming the problems which cause people to become homeless.Columbus House, along with its core of loyal supporters, friends, and volunteers, has remained committed to fulfilling its mission: To serve people experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk by providing life-saving outreach, shelter and housing and by fostering their personal growth and independence. We advocate for and create affordable housing to end homelessness in our communities. **Purpose**With guidance from the Facilities Director, the Facilities Manager provides overall program coordination and direct staff supervision, focusing on Environmental services.**Duties and Responsibilities**

• Hire, schedule, supervise, evaluate and train environmental service workers; provide all necessary program guidance ensuring consistency and continuity of services rendered
• Complete work orders that are assigned to you
• Attend/share all required CHI and network meetings
• Fill in costs and hours of environmental staff work orders
• Act as back-up environmental service
• Complete all required reports
• Maintain maintenance database
• Other related duties as assigned
• Participate in the on - call rotation

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to motivate, supervise, schedule, and train staff
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and partners
• Financial literacy
• Strong computer skills
• Solid customer service experience/approach
• Ability to work with diverse populations
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work with improvement teams and foster teamwork
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Valid Drivers license with a good driving record.
• 5 years of experience in environmental service
• 5 years of experience in maintenance repair

Supervised ByProgram Manager of Case Management Services

• Salary:**$58,656- $61,800 per year based upon education and experience plus excellent benefits
• Schedule:** Monday- Friday: 9am-5pm
