This position's schedule will be 30 hours per week Monday-Friday and increase during the General Assembly Session each year (January - April), up to 39.9 hours. Minimum RequirementsCurrent DGS employee.Knowledge and experience with cleaning tasks, techniques, materials, and equipment.Knowledge of public facility sanitation standards and safety practices in the use of cleaning chemicals and supplies.Ability to manage time effectively.Ability to follow written and oral instructions.Ability to perform manual labor; stand/walk for extended periods; routinely lift, push, or pull 20 pounds; and occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.Additional ConsiderationsKnowledge and experience with cleaning techniques and methods for a wide variety of surfaces.Knowledge and experience with cleaning chemicals and industrial custodial equipment.Experience in stripping, waxing, and/or shampooing floors.Special InstructionsThe online state application must contain all required information and fully respond to questions to be considered for this job opportunity.
