Microbiology Laboratory Supervisor

#x 9; Assist in managing daily operations of the microbiology department, including scheduling and supervising staff to ensure accurate analyses and data interpretation. Exercise authority to execute work stoppage during quality issues, and collaborate with supervisors to resume operations safely. Implement and follow quality measures and regulatory standards in all laboratory tasks, while promoting the company's image through ethical practices. Perform microbiological testing, troubleshoot and conduct minor repairs on equipment, and coordinate major repairs to maintain equipment in good condition. Maintain accurate records, review and evaluate technical data for compliance with SOPs, and investigate non-conformances to implement corrective actions. Train, evaluate, and manage laboratory staff, participate in hiring decisions, and ensure readiness in responding to client and staff needs while adhering to health and safety regulations.
