Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Process biweekly payroll and maintain accurate records in ADP

  • Maintain job descriptions for all positions

  • Post open positions to various job boards

  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires

  • Communicate new hires and terminations to relevant teams

  • Maintain and upload personnel files and documents to HRIS

  • Track and report background and drug screening results

  • Answer HR line and handle basic inquiries

  • Administer and support associate recognition programs (e.g., SHG MVPs, Values Champions)

  • Order and update employment law posters; monitor changes in state/federal posting requirements

  • Assist in benefits support in coordination with above-property HR

  • Provide associate relations and engagement support

  • Participate in HR meetings, track weekly accomplishments, and assist with monthly HR objectives

  • Provide administrative support for HR events and special projects

  • Perform various other duties as assigned

Education and Experience
  • Associate's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration

  • Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience, including at least 1 year of administrative HR support

  • Prior Human Resources experience within the Hospitality Industry is strongly preferred
  • Experience in HR functions such as job postings, interviews, onboarding, recognition programs, and compliance

  • Proficient in HRIS systems, preferably ADP

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities

  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities with attention to detail

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to act with professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality

  • Thorough understanding of employment-related laws and regulations

  • Tech-savvy and capable of learning new HR systems and platforms
