Northern New York Full-Time Scenic Location Multispecialty Team
A reputable healthcare system located in northern New York is actively seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to support surgical services and hospitalist care in a dynamic clinical setting. This role offers the opportunity to work across inpatient units and operating rooms, with exposure to general surgery, OB/GYN, and orthopedic specialties.
Position Overview:Blended Role: Involves a combination of Surgical First Assist responsibilities in the OR and inpatient coverage on the medical-surgical floors
Inpatient Duties Include:
Daily rounds and progress notes
Admissions, discharges, and consult management
Order management and coordination with attending teams
Patient Population: Primarily General Surgery, OB/GYN, and Orthopedics
Schedule Options:
4 ten-hour shifts or 5 eight-hour shifts per week
Day shift (7:00 AM 5:00 PM) or evening shift (3:00 PM 11:00 PM) available
Call Requirements:
Approximately 5 calls per month, including one weekend
Weekend call includes Friday at 5:00 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM
Post-weekend call Monday off provided
Primary Location: Modern, mid-sized hospital facility in northern New York with access to surgical suites and inpatient care units
Base Salary: $135,000 $161,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Signing Bonus: $5,000
Relocation Assistance: Up to $7,500
Licensing & Dues: $1,000 annually
CME Allowance: $2,000 annually
Benefit Time: 200 hours per year
Holiday Time: Up to 7 days
Malpractice Coverage: Provided by employer

Pay is based on a good faith estimate and may include performance-based components in accordance with system-wide compensation models.
