Assistant Director of Clinical Services (ADCS) The Assistant Director of Clinical Services (ADCS) under the direction of the DCS, provides administrative supervision and direction for the acute clinicians, PRTF therapists, and recreation therapists. The ADCS works collaboratively with the nurse managers, physicians, and other providers to ensure consistent clinical programming and the provision of a therapeutic milieu for patients. The ADCS attends treatment planning meetings in support of the clinicians, and as directed by the DCS. The ADCS participates in managers meetings and serves on other councils or committees at the discretion of the DCS. The ADCS participates in monthly audits of clinical services documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards for provision of patient care. At the direction of the DCS, the ADCS may participate in orientation training sessions for new hires, and provide topical clinical training.
