The Patient Care Educator for the De. Busk College of Osteopathic Medicine at Lincoln Memorial University-Knoxville (DCOM at LMU-Knoxville) is responsible for providing learning support and instruction for osteopathic medical students in the areas of clinical and interpersonal skills, teamwork, communications, etc. through simulation and formative/summative evaluation. Required Qualifications Nursing (LPN, RN or BSN), certified military medic (E 4 or above), paramedic or related experience (at least 3 years). Preferred Qualifications Recent experience as an educator or skills instructor; - knowledge and expertise in medical surgical; - experience with life support and other clinical skills training; - experience with simulation as an educational tool or with hi-fidelity simulation manikins preferred but not required.
