This position is permanent intermittent. This permanent intermittent is an appointment with hours varying each pay period based on workload. This position acts as a direct representative of the State of Michigan to the traveling public. As a travel counselor, provide and distribute literature, information, and guidance on travel and vacation activities within the state. Assist in preparing literature displays in the center. Assist in clerical work. The Salary listed above is a range that reflects the minimum rate at the entry (5) level through the maximum rate at the experienced (E 7) level. Based on education and experience, candidates will be reviewed to determine what level they are qualified for.
