Pay Information $450 to $500 per hour About The Position North Carolina GI - Call-Only Coverage, No ERCP-EUS We have an excellent locum tenens opportunity for a Gastroenterologist in North Carolina. This assignment offers a desirable work-life balance with a predictable, call-only schedule for an ongoing need starting in 2026. Highlights This is a 100% call coverage assignment. ERCP and EUS experience is not required. Work only 7-10 days per month. Ongoing need provides scheduling stability. Practice Setting This is an inpatient-only setting. Typical daily volume is 6-15 consults. Expect 2-6 admissions while on-call. Patient population is adults only. Schedule 24-hour call responsibility. Requires a 30-minute response time. Coverage is needed on an ongoing basis. Commitment is for 7-10 days per month. Requirements Board Certified in Gastroenterology. Active North Carolina medical license. Current ACLS and BLS certifications. Requires 12 months of post-training experience. Credentialing Requirements Full credentialing support is provided. The process typically takes 60-90 days. Travel accommodations Travel and lodging accommodations are provided. Malpractice insurance with tail coverage included.
