Principal AccountabilitiesEmployees predominantly engage in the following essential job functions during their day-to-day activities:
  • Ensures all equipment is properly cleaned and staged.
  • Perform maintenance and service on equipment such as pressure washing, completing inspections, etc.
  • Performs inspection on equipment as required.
  • Perform NDE inspection (wet mag, dye penetrant) on equipment pad-eyes as required.
  • Perform visual inspections on equipment and slings per ASME B30.9 as required.
  • Changes slings and prepare reports for recertification.
  • Removes outdate slings and prepare reports for recertification.
  • Installs recertified slings.
  • Complete forklift safety checklist daily/upon use
  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing equipment.
  • Maintain and submit accurate inspection forms, delivery paperwork, etc.
  • Maintain a safe work site.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Applicants must possess a valid Driver's license.
  • No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years.
  • A clean work, driving, and criminal history record.
  • Safety conscience
  • 1-year general oilfield experience or equivalent combination of education.
  • General computer skills
  • Ability to communicate with other crew members, customers, and vendors.
Preferred, but not required.
  • 6 months experience in NDE, current NDE Level II certification a plus
  • 6 months experience in Rigging, current Rigging Gear and Sling Inspector Level II
