We have an immediate opening for an Associate Researcher I who will work with human specimens. The Associate Researcher is an entry research position, responsible for assisting in clinical research studies, obtaining informed consent, collecting, maintaining and organizing study information. This individual assist in the preparation and submission of grant applications and documents (e.g., Institutional Review Board, Grants and Contracts Office). Responsibilities What Youll Do: Under supervision of the Dr. Merad, a MD-PhD with extensive laboratory experience, at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai: Assists in the activities related to clinical research including, but not limited to: obtaining informed consent and screening participants for eligibility. Assists in the collection of specimen from different departments in the hospital for analysis in the lab. Maintains source documents in accordance with Mount Sinai policies and procedures.
