The Child Life Assistant(CLA) provides supervision and maintenance of playrooms and teen rooms to ensure safety of patient areas. Supervision of CCTV Studio with the ability to operate CCTV equipment, plan daily programming. CLA will provide activities and play opportunities for patients and assist with special events and community visitors organized by the Child Life Department. CLA will work with the Foundation to coordinate donations to the Child Life Department. Works closely with Child Life Team to support the needs of patients and families which may include daily introduction of services, bedside interactions, assisting patients and families in selecting appropriate materials and delivering materials to rooms. CLA will work with the BR Market Volunteer Coordinator to train, orient, supervise, motivate and schedule volunteers assigned to the Child Life Department.
