Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 1900-0730 Hours per Shift: 36 (open to 48) Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent and relevant Emergency Department experience required License: Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing Certifications: BLS Required, ACLS Required Must-Have: Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit. Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Delegates, supervises, and documents care and teaching of patients and their families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
