Job Title: RN Psych Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Psychiatric Nursing Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Current RN license required Certifications: BLS and CPI blue card from Crisis Prevention Institute required Must-Have: - Epic experience within the last year - Ability to draw blood and manage IVs - Willingness to float within scope of practice Description: The RN will provide care to patients primarily over 60 years of age. Patients may present with dementia, depression, or suicidal ideation. The unit consists of 16 private rooms. Staffing ratios are 1 to 6 or 1 to 7, depending on patient acuity. The RN must be able to float to medical-surgical units as needed. Interviews will be required for consideration. Candidates should provide their availability for interviews. The RN should have a graduate degree from an accredited nursing program.
