#x 9; The role of an Electrode Machining Assistant / Set-Up Operator is focused on setting up the Machine for the operator, playing a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of Machining processes. The Machine Operator assistant is responsible for preparing the machine and its components before the actual machining process begins. Will utilize torque wrenches. Will utilize Digital Micrometers. Will utilize a cart to push around parts across the shop floor. Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent US Citizen Experience on a shop floor in a manufacturing setting. Must have the ability to do repetitive work and lift 25 pounds. Must possess good manual dexterity and eyesight. Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must be able to follow instructions and multi-task.
