First Connect Health is seeking a local contract Polysomnographer for a local contract job in Johnson City, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Polysomnographer Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/10/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, nights Employment Type: Local Contract Required Certifications & Licensure: -BLS from AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross. -RPSGT Registered Polysomnographic Technologist. -Explains set up and testing protocols to patient/caregiver answering any questions that they may have. -Sets up patient per policy/AASM guidelines. -Performs studies per policy/AASM guidelines. Closely monitors the patient for clinical and physiological events and taking appropriate actions to obtain required sleep/wake data. -Performs Titration and Split night studies in accordance with policy and/or physician orders. -Wakes patient when appropriate amount of data is obtained, and study is completed. Removes electrodes and transducers careful and the patient will be assisted with hygiene as necessary. -Scores studies in accordance with AASM scoring manual guidelines. Completes all scoring in a timely manner. -Scoring takes precedent over all other non-patient related functions (i. e.
