We're looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to manage the full cycle of AP functions with accuracy and compliance. This role requires strong analytical skills and a commitment to financial integrity.
Schedule
- Full-Time: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- On-site at our Patient Care Center in West Sacramento, CA
Key Responsibilities
- Process and review vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Prepare and handle payments, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transactions.
- Maintain accurate and organized vendor records and files.
- Resolve discrepancies and issues related to invoices and payments in a timely manner.
- Perform month-end close activities, including reconciliation of accounts payable and vendor statements.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts payable as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely processing of invoices and provide support on related inquiries.
- Continuously improve accounts payable processes and recommend changes for increased efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Qualifications
- 2+ years full-cycle accounts payable experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Sage Intacct strongly preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of integrity and ethical standard in handling financial information and confidential data
- Prior dental industry experience is a plus but not required
- Demonstrate consistent attendance and punctuality
