About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, detail-oriented Homemaker / Home Health Aide to assist an independent adult client in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized home environment. This position is ideal for someone who is proactive, reliable, and comfortable with both light caregiving and household management. Applicant must be

Key Responsibilities:

Safety Support

• Stand-by assistance during shower (as needed)

• Assist with dressing

Light Cleaning

• Make bed

• Vacuum

• Wipe down surfaces and doors

Kitchen Support

• Clean refrigerator and organize items

• Unload/load dishwasher

• Clean coffee maker and wipe kitchen surfaces

• Take out trash if needed

Meal Preparation

• Prepare simple meals/snacks for current and next day

• Clean up prep area and floors

Laundry & Household Tasks

• Laundry

• Fold and put away clean clothes

Documentation

• Log tasks completed and prepare to leave

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience in caregiving, homemaking, or home health aide work

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Kind, respectful demeanor and clear communication

• Ability to follow a care schedule reliably

• Comfort with light physical tasks (laundry, vacuuming, etc.)

• Willingness to assist with personal care (shower support, dressing)

• Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check

Bonus Qualifications (Not Required):

• Valid driver's license

• Familiarity with elder care or chronic health support
