Adams Keegan is seeking a detail-oriented Benefits Specialist to manage multiple client-employer benefit and insurance accounts. - Support annual open enrollment process for clients.
- Process all benefits enrollment for new hires, ensuring accurate and timely submission to carriers.
- Manage employee payroll deduction setup and maintenance for all benefit elections.
- Serves as a primary point of contact for client representatives, addressing benefits-related inquiries and issues promptly.
- Resolve service issues for both employees and clients related to claims, eligibility problems, billing discrepancies, and COBRA.
- Stay informed about changes in client-employer and employee deductions and premiums.
- Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations across all client benefit programs.
Required Experience:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent data entry skills with speed and accuracy.
- Ability to understand, analyze, and explain benefit costs.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
Preferred Experience:
- 1-3 Years of Employee Benefits experience.
- Preferred understanding of employee benefit laws, including ERISA, Section 125, COBRA, and HIPAA.
