Technician

Shift: 1st Monday - Friday

Location: Peachtree City, GA

Industry: Automotive Electronics

Technician Responsibilities:

  • Unit Evaluation
    • Receive returned units from customers and associate hardware/components
    • Review and analyze reported complaints (e.g. Bluetooth, rearview camera, display issues)
  • Failure Replication
    • Attempt to duplicate the issue within 30 minutes within laboratory
    • If replication fails, follow No Trouble Found protocol:
      • Conduct Cold chamber testing
      • Conduct Hot chamber testing
      • Physical inspection (components, circuits, wiring)
    • Confirmed Failures
      • If failure is evident, hand over to engineer for component-level analysis
      • Once confirmed, technician swaps out integrated components and inspects soldering using microscope
      • Conduct soldering as necessary and electrical assembly.

    Skills & Experience Required:

    • Preferred Education:
      • 2 years of experience or AAS in Electronics Engineering Technology
    • Preferred Background:
      • Product testing and assembly
      • Soldering (must meet IPC 7711/610 standards)
      • Consumer electronics, medical, aerospace, or automotive industries
      • PCB troubleshooting (bonus)
      • Ability to read schematics (bonus)
