Location: This position requires on-site work in Huntsville, AL.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain Windows servers, desktops, and network devices; experience with Linux is a plus.
- Contribute to system design, hardware/software implementation, and overall infrastructure support.
- Adopt new technologies to adapt to evolving requirements.
- Document system configurations and establish baselines.
- Provide backup and recovery services while managing file systems and disk space.
- Utilize desktop and server virtualization with Hyper-V, VMware vSphere, and ESXi.
- Manage ticket load and prioritize daily on-site support and troubleshooting tasks.
- Engage in multiple projects, serving either as a team member or occasionally as a project lead.
- Manage user accounts and access controls in both domain and standalone environments.
- Ensure the proper handling, marking, and storage of classified materials.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Windows operating system issues on servers and workstations.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of relevant experience; equivalent work experience may substitute for a degree.
- A minimum of 3+ years of direct System Administrator experience.
- Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top-Secret clearance.
- DoD Directive 8570 / 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification. (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively interface with security agencies, customers, and management.
- Proficient in managing multiple networks in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Familiarity with Risk Management Framework requirements for Windows and Linux systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a classified environment (Collateral/SAP/SCI).
- System Administrator experience in a similar-sized organization.
- Understanding of network concepts, Type 1 encryption devices (e.g., TACLANE), and cybersecurity tools.
- Ability to securely configure network equipment (switches and firewalls).

Pay Range: Pay Range: $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
