The Kitchen Support will play a crucial role in assisting both the Kitchen Lead and the Production Manager in maintaining the efficiency, safety, and quality of kitchen operations. This position directly supports the production of cannabis-infused gummies. Key Responsibilities Day-to-Day Responsibilities - Assist in preparing ingredients for cannabis-infused gummy production, including weighing and portioning.
- Support formulation, infusion, packaging, and labeling of finished gummy products.
- Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and workstations.
- Assist in general kitchen duties: dishwashing, food preparation, sweeping/mopping.
- Receive and organize ingredients and supplies.
- Follow kitchen food safety and cannabis handling SOPs and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with Kitchen Technicians and Leads to maintain production flow.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and cross-training opportunities.
- Accurately label and track products per compliance procedures.
Physical Requirements - Manual Dexterity and Hand Strength
- Fine motor skills for whisking, scraping, and handling tools.
- Use of hands and wrists for repetitive kitchen tasks.
- Standing and Sitting for Extended Periods
- Standing for most of the shift; occasional sitting for prep work.

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (ingredients, trays, packaged goods).

Working Conditions - Indoor, Controlled Environment
- Work in a climate-controlled cannabis kitchen with regulated humidity and temperature.
- Clean and Hygienic Work Areas
- Sanitation protocols strictly enforced (PPE, glove use, handwashing).
- Odor Exposure
- Exposure to the smell of cannabis extracts and ingredients.
- Fast-Paced, Team-Oriented Work
- Work closely with the Kitchen team to meet daily production goals.
- Regulatory and Compliance-Based Work
- Ensure all procedures meet state compliance and product safety standards.
- Ergonomic Considerations
- Anti-fatigue mats, gloves, and other ergonomic supports may be provided.
Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Prior experience in food service, cannabis, or manufacturing preferred.
- ServSafe certification or equivalent preferred, or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to follow instructions and standard procedures.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Able to pass background check and obtain Missouri Agent Card.
- Availability on weekends, holidays, and for overtime as needed.
