- Reporting to the Director of Communications and Marketing, this position is responsible for elevating the university's online presence, supporting enrollment growth, and driving the success of key initiatives from our digital properties. They will be responsible for KPIs across the website and social media. They will also support email communications and campaigns. Ultimately this position helps strengthen the university's visibility, reputation, and impact via digital platforms. This is an exempt, full-time, hybrid position located in Fremont, CA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Website Management
- Manage and update the University website to ensure content is accurate, timely, and aligned with brand and messaging goals. Work with IT web developer to make enhancements and new content releases.
- Work with internal departments to create and optimize landing pages and forms for programs, events, and campaigns.
- Monitor website analytics and user behavior to improve performance KPIs including SEO performance, user experience, and lead conversion.
Social Media
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with institutional priorities.
- Create and curate engaging and brand-consistent content for platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, and X to increase visibility, awareness, and engagement.
- Manage interns and/or student assistants to create content for social media.
- Manage paid social campaigns in collaboration with marketing and enrollment teams.
- Monitor performance metrics and community engagement, and adjust strategies as needed.
Salesforce CRM
- Collaborate with enrollment/recruitment teams to optimize website marketing campaigns, track engagement, and support the admissions funnel with Salesforce CRM.
- Support the integration of web forms, landing pages, and digital campaigns into Salesforce for lead capture and nurturing.
- Segment and maintain email lists and student journeys using Marketing Cloud or Pardot. (if applicable)
- Collaborate with Admissions and IT to ensure CRM data integrity and performance.
- Use Salesforce reports and dashboards to assess marketing performance and refine strategy.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably within higher education or a nonprofit/mission-driven setting.
- Proficiency with website CMS platforms (e.g., Modern Campus, WordPress, Drupal), Google Analytics, and SEO best practices.
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems and email marketing tools (e.g., Pardot, Marketing Cloud, Slate, Element 451, Anthology or similar).
- Strong knowledge of social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and platform analytics.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Work Environment & Physical Demands
