Job Description:
- Performs technical skill duties in all operating room specialty service areas, ensuring that proper technical practices are employed according to accepted standards of process.
- Provides proper maintenance, assembly, handling, and sterilization techniques of specialty instrumentation.
- Follows aseptic technique.
- Proactively identifies contamination and/or breaks in aseptic technique and implements corrective actions.
- Performs surgical counts.
- Follows policies and procedures for incorrect counts and reports discrepancies appropriately.
- Labels drugs and solutions; monitors quantities used.
- Assists in the proper identification, preparation, handling, and labeling of surgical specimens.
Fully Onsite: Role: Provider Program Administrative Analyst:
- Need applicants with some type of either testing or issue analysis - not data analysis.
- Involves a lot of analysis, not solely analytics as in creating queries and databases.
- This role will be doing analysis/research, managing their assignments and testing to validate the resolutions based on the analysis, process improvements or implementation of products, new providers, etc.
- It helps if candidates are familiar with Govt Programs, meaning Medicaid and Medicare products.
- It is also helpful if they have experience testing or analyzing issues, and creating process improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the management and maintenance of the following operational aspects of network programs.
- Project / Enhancements / Initiative planning and implementation.
- Cross functional departmental coordination.
- Program management and administration including data maintenance / processing.
- Identifying providers for recruitment or education.
- Research and resolution of issues.
- Answering inquiries.
- Results reporting and analysis coordination.
- System testing.
- Coordinate with internal resources for implementation and operation tasks.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree OR 4 years' experience in managed care or network management involving independent work and judgment.
- 3 years project management experience including leading and planning projects.
- Experience with issue analysis/research, identifying and capturing process improvements.
- Testing experience and experience leading projects.
- Managed care/network management database experience including knowledge of information flow.
- PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills including interpersonal and presentation skills.
