Job Description

To act as chief international admissions officer responsible for research and evaluation of international educational credentials and for the supervision of office staff.

Considerable knowledge in the profession of international credential evaluation. Considerable knowledge of a large administrative system such as Banner and Salesforce. Considerable knowledge of admissions functions. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Excellent research skills. Proficient skill in problem solving/data maintenance/reporting in a comprehensive administrative system. Demonstrated ability to use various research tools such as libraries, the internet, research files, agencies, organizations etc. to resolve comparative education issues. Demonstrated ability to supervise employees and evaluate performance. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple, complex tasks efficiently while under pressure to meet deadlines.

Conditions of Employment

Employment is Monday to Friday, 8:00-5:00pm on the Norfolk main campus.

Given the nature of the position that provides support to students and/or student-centered programs, the employee may have to support admissions events, which may be on a weekend.

Annual Salary/Hourly Rate Salary commensurate with education and experience
