A law firm based in Tysons Corner, VA is seeking an HR Generalist to join their team. The role is hybrid with expectations for in-office work approximately 3 days/week. With an upcoming maternity leave in December within the HR department, this is a great opportunity to lead an HR department for a short period of time alongside supportive colleagues as well once comfortably trained into the role! Status: Direct Hire Salary: $70-78K DOE LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support daily operations of HR team within a busy law firm
- Support HR department with matters including but not limited to recruiting, benefits, performance management, and more
Job Requirements:
- Highly detail-oriented, true generalist experience across recruiting/benefits/performance management/etc., strong communication, and excellent judgment and problem-solving will be key
- Law firm or professional services previous experience preferred; previous experience working in a small (or 1-person) team preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; at least 3 years of relevant HR experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred; SHRM-CP or similar HR certification preferred
