Warehouse Associate
Perform general warehouse duties including receiving, packing, and picking to ensure efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize a windows-based warehouse system to route orders, look up locations, process sales orders, complete export documentation, create bills of lading, and navigate online portals.
- Operate the Label Matrix system to create and print labels for multiple customers.
- Schedule outbound freight by contacting trucking companies.
- Adhere to all safety and health standards.
- Participate in kaizen events to continuously improve work processes.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in receiving, packing, and picking.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse functions.
- Ability to count and verify items picked or packed.
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office suite, Windows-based warehouse system, AS400 systems, and Manhattan Scale.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, including spelling, grammar, and composition.
- Ability to follow directions effectively.
- Extensive knowledge of warehouse functions.

Work Environment:
The work environment includes mild exposure to dust particles and weather elements. Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and steel-toe shoes are required during shifts.

This is a contract position based out of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $18.87 - $18.87/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
