Job Description

We are currently seeking a Real Estate Consultant to join our Public Institutions (PI) group. This position will support the Air Force Portfolio Management team, providing oversight for the Air Forces $15 billion portfolio of Public-Private Partnership (P3) assets. The role involves working directly with the Air Force Civil Engineering Centers Commercial On-base Lodging Privatization program management.

About Public Institutions (PI): JLLs PI group identifies and implements strategies that enable public sector organizations to leverage their real property in alignment with their missions. PI employs over 800 professionals across the U.S. and abroad, with a successful track record working with more than 200 government and higher education clients.

Overview of Job Responsibilities:

  • Advise JLL team leads and DOD clients on large-scale P3 projects, including operational management, real estate finance, and legal document compliance;
  • Support recurring client reports such as quarterly asset performance, compliance, property operations, and account status reports;
  • Provide ad hoc support including drafting technical memos, preparing briefing materials, investigating operational issues, and conducting financial analysis;
  • Gather and analyze economic, demographic, and real estate market data;
  • Review legal documents, financial reports, and operating plans during due diligence, negotiations, and restructures;
  • Participate in on-site property assessments;
  • Assist in client training sessions;
  • Maintain financial databases and document management websites.

Overview of Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, business, finance, public policy, or related field (preferred)
  • 0-3 years of relevant work experience (preferred)
  • Knowledge of real estate operations and hotel management (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic understanding of real estate finance (budget analysis, pro forma development)
  • Ability to problem solve, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% nationally
