We don't always know what our clients need before we get there, so you need to be confident that you can do the job.You should have all the tools for doing various kinds of home improvement work.To succeed in this role, you will follow our process (the Mr. Handyman Way) because that's what our customers expect.Your Responsibilities as a Professional CarpenterComplete Repairs & Maintenance - You will perform small to medium projects for both residential and commercial clients.Manage Customer Expectations and Make Recommendations - You will communicate with clients to help them understand what needs to be done and manage expectations about the scope of work and the associated costs.Establish Long-Term Customers - Deliver a terrific experience that builds life-long, repeat clients. By following the Mr. Handyman Way, you will have a repeatable process that makes it easy to impress the customer every time.How We Measure Performance of the CarpenterHere are some of the examples of how we will measure your job performance:Customer Satisfaction (NPS) - For every job, you will encourage customers to complete a survey for them to rate their satisfaction with the service. You'll need both a high response rate and high satisfaction rate.Revenue Target - Our office gets you in the door and it's your job to stay there and find additional ways to be of service to the customer.Effective Billing Rate - It's your responsibility to invoice appropriately, source any needed materials, and collect payment from the customer.Recall Percentage - We guarantee all our work for one year. (Our professional carpenters wear their uniform with pride and show respect for customers' property).Job Requirements for the Professional CarpenterThese are the minimum requirements to be considered for this position.Live within the areaHave 10+ years' experience as a professional carpenterOwn your own toolsAble to safely work at heights and work overhead for extended periods of timeBe insurable for driving our vehicleBe willing to undergo a background check, driving record check, and drug testAble to lift 50 pounds independentlyExhibit a professional appearanceProperly maintain a company-assigned vehicleAs an experienced carpenter, you have expertise in at least four (4) of the following:Wood rot repair and replacementMinor plumbingDrywall finishing (repair, mud & tape)Minor electricalWindow and door replacementBathroom or kitchen remodelingFloor installation and repairCeramic tile installationWe have presented a lot of information here and because we only want to hire the best.
