Mechanical Engineer
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a permanent role supporting the US Army in Albany, Georgia. This is a fully on-site role. This position requires an active Secret clearance.
Responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer:
- Support infrastructure development and construction projects
- Perform technical assessments and analysis
- Recommend engineering solutions in support of facilities and weapons systems
- Ensure production goals are satisfied
- Work hands-on with heavy machinery
Requirements for the Mechanical Engineer:
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- Active Secret clearance
- Proficiency in CAD software such as Solidworks, AutoCAD or other
- Strong knowledge in materials, thermodynamic, fluid mechanics, structural analysis
- Experience with mechanical testing and failure analysis on heavy machinery
Compensation for the Mechanical Engineer:
- Annual salary: $100,000-115,000, depending on experience
