The Part-Time Clerk is accountable to the Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, and Operations Controller. Essential Duties
- Maintain a central database of bonds
- Exercise legal awareness to process bond dispositions
- Use sound judgement and an understanding of courts system to properly route bonds
- Process daily report on case closures
- Process accounts payable checks/eft notices and payroll checks
- Work proficiently in Odyssey, Munis, and QuickBooks
- Assist customers in person, by telephone and email
- Assist daily bank courier as needed
- Assist with daily scanning in TCM as needed
- Assist in preparing the daily deposit as needed
Position Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: Individual must be able to perform each essential duty necessary to perform this job satisfactorily. Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and the public. Exceptional oral and written business communication skills. Experience in customer service is highly preferred. Must posses the ability to work along side others at all levels with independence in opinion and integrity. Working knowledge of basic computing, Microsoft programs, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel. Must be able to work independently in the absence of supervision. Must be able to read and understand cursive writing. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Graduation from High school or GED certificate required. Knowledge, skills, and abilities relevant to business or banking are preferred. Supplemental Information KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Must possess exceptional oral and written business communication skills. The ability to work with people at all levels with independence in opinion and integrity. Advanced knowledge of computing and Microsoft programs, particularly Word and Excel. Display ability to use extreme discretion and advanced knowledge of accounting. Must be able to perform complex level tasks related to cash management and internal financial compliance. Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume office to produce accurate work and meet established deadlines. The ability to frequently use a computer, telephone, and various office equipment. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The ability to spend much of each workday sitting and working indoors, standing, walking, talking, listening. Use of hands and/or fingers to handle, pick-up, grasp, pinch, type or feel; frequent lifting of objects up to 20 pounds; close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The ability to stand, walk, bend, drive, and spend time outdoors occasionally. The ability to work part time 20-28 hours/week.
