Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in Monterey, California.
Job Description & Requirements

- Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring informed consent and pre-procedure readiness.
- Administer moderate sedation and monitor patient response during procedures.
- Assist interventional radiologists during image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
- Monitor vital signs, hemodynamic stability, and patient comfort before, during, and after procedures.
- Provide post-procedure care, including recovery monitoring, discharge education, and documentation.
- Maintain a sterile environment and follow infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans.
- Document all patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in Epic EMR (or facility system).
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours IR coverage.
Active California RN license.BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA) required.Minimum 2 years Interventional Radiology RN experience preferred.
