WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Buffalo, NY.

Job Function:

• Night Shift.
• 3x12: 7pm - 7am.

• Monitor and assess vital signs of premature or critically ill newborns, adjusting care plans based on the infant's condition.

• Administer medications, IVs, and feedings, ensuring accurate dosages and appropriate timing per the neonatologist's orders.

• Provide support and education to families, helping them understand their baby's condition and care needs, and involving them in caregiving when appropriate.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for each infant.

Job Function:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current RN license for the state of New York.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• NRP Certification is required.
• Fetal Monitoring Certification is required.
• 2 full years of acute care experience in this specialty.
