The Goddard School located in Little Rock is seeking a motivated and caring Infant Teacher. You'll support your Co-Teacher in creating engaging programs, managing the classroom and ensuring a safe, stimulating environment. No nights or weekends!!

Assistant Teacher Key Responsibilities:

• Assist your co-teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans
• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Prepare classroom materials and ensure safety and cleanliness
• Supervise and provide individualized support to children
• Assist in communicating with parents about their child's progress and activities
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines
• Support routine childcare tasks to promote a nurturing learning environment
• Complete care routines like diaper changes, bottle feeds, solid feeds, and playtime

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
• Shows empathy and compassion for young children
• Works productively
• Basic understanding of child development
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
• Ability to pass a drug test
