Senior Laser Development Engineer and Engineering Manager

Provide innovative product and process design/optimization for new laser products and existing product platforms, based on company owned and licensed technologies. Lead schedule driven product development efforts. Support planning and daily management of schedule, cost, and performance requirements for assigned product development efforts. Provide technical support to business development activities and work with and between various business units to achieve product development goals and requirements. In addition, serve as Senior Laser and Optical engineer, conducting design trades and analyses on development projects. Some mechanical engineering skills required, relating to military-grade opto-mechanical systems. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Technical Responsibilities. Technical leadership in product development efforts. Work as a core team member in a multi-disciplinary team including mechanical engineers, electronics engineers, optical designers, and physicists.
