As Laundry Attendant is responsible for providing a constant supply of clean linens for the entire hotel. In this position, you will be responsible for organizing, cleaning and sorting hotel linens, including sheets and towels. The position also requires you to use our provided cleaning materials to tackle items in need of extra attention. HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Operate washing and drying equipment, load and unload laundry from machines. Measure and administer cleaning agents to laundry according to product specifications. Monitor feeder information on washers, make sure all drums are full, and report any irregularities to immediate supervisor. Set the proper drying and cooling times for different types of linen. Lift clean, wet articles from the washer and places them successively into wringers and driers for measured time cycles. Sort dried articles according to identification number or type.
