Summary
The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of Allegheny Diversified Holding's IT infrastructure, including computer systems, networks, and applications. This role ensures the efficient, secure operation of technology systems while aligning IT strategies with business goals. The IT Manager leads IT teams, handles basic troubleshooting, and manages system architecture. Additionally, the role includes responsibilities for purchasing, vendor relations, and ensuring the organization's IT needs are met across all departments.
Roles & Responsibilities
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management, training and development of the IT Support Analyst, fostering an environment of continuous learning and growth.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Resolve end-user issues and provide technical support.
- Address networking infrastructure problems to ensure smooth operations.
- Troubleshoot and maintain server infrastructure to ensure system reliability.
- Support and resolve issues related to cloud-based systems and applications.
- Continuously assess and improve the technology environment to ensure it meets the evolving needs of the business.
- Design and maintain physical networking infrastructure.
- Oversee the virtual cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Manage relationships with IT vendors and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms and performance.
- Oversee the purchasing of hardware, software, and IT services to meet organizational needs and budget.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect the organization's data, networks, and systems.
- Manage and maintain telecom systems, ensuring efficient communication within the organization.
- Oversee the management of mobile devices, ensuring security and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate documentation for IT systems, processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures to ensure clarity and compliance.
Qualifications & Skill
- Proficiency in computer hardware, software, cabling, installation, networking, and security

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in IT Management or related field
- At least 3 years' experience in systems administration
