DescriptionFLSA Classification: Full Time, ExemptThe Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum Creative DepartmentThe Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum has an opening for a full-time, exempt Creative Project Manager in the Creative Department.Company Overview: Located in the heart of downtown Nashville, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum documents and interprets the history of country music—a musical genre and culture central to the identity of the city, the state, and the nation. Accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, the museum proudly combines subject expertise, ambitious research, and preservation of an unparalleled collection with expressions of creativity in music, art, and history. The museum collects artifacts that illustrate the evolving history and traditions of country music and provides diverse learning opportunities through educational programs, publications, and exhibitions. The core exhibit follows the story of country music from its folk beginnings through its evolution as a commercial art form. Rotating exhibits examine a broad range of topics, from country classics to contemporary and emerging artists in American Currents. The museum owns Hatch Show Print, a letterpress print shop opened in 1879, and it operates Historic RCA Studio B, where Elvis Presley and many others recorded.What We Offer for Full-Time Staff:

Departmental Overview: The Creative Department is responsible for the design and production of all exhibits, advertisements, collateral support materials, web graphics (social media, website, and email) and on-property signage – from concept to delivery. Our overall goal is to perpetuate the mission of the Museum. The Creative Department interacts with nearly all other departments such as Education, Programming, Events, Development, Retail, Ticketed events, and Dining.Position Overview: The Creative Project Manager will lead a portfolio of projects that require creative products. Products include but are not limited to exhibit installations, print marketing pieces, digital ads, and video content. The Creative Project Manager will work closely with graphics designers, video editors, content creators, copywriters, and print production team members. The Creative Project Manager will liaise with marketing managers and various Museum staff to execute projects. Daily responsibilities will include the scheduling, execution, and delivery of projects – shepherding them from kickoff to completion. This position will report to the Associate Director, Creative Project Management.Specific Job Duties Include:
  • Schedule, assign and manage execution of creative projects from inception to completion
  • Collaborate with Associate Director, Creative Project Management to identify and evaluate inefficiencies
  • Ensure established creative standards and processes are followed throughout campaigns
  • Acquire deep understanding of CMHOF institution-wide goals through campaign meetings
  • Collaborate on reporting of current departmental workloads and impending deadlines
  • Support budget management for Creative department, including inputting expenses and POs and creating project budgets
  • Garner a deep understanding of the Museum's mission, voice and goals
RequirementsMinimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent industry experience required
  • 2-4 years' project management, agency or non-profit experience
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess a diplomatic nature with strong negotiating skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Basecamp or similar project management system
  • Experience working with graphic designers and/or video editors
  • Ability to make time sensitive and critical decisions
  • Solid understanding of how to create efficiencies
  • Comfortable in a deadline-driven environment
  • Positive and energetic
