Quality Control Manager – Lead with Excellence & Purpose

Location: Orange, CA (On-Site)

Job Type: Full-Time | Exempt

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 DOE

As our Quality Control Manager, you will oversee manufacturing operations, ensuring product standards and driving continuous improvement. This role requires technical expertise, leadership, and a collaborative spirit.

What You'll Do

• Report to the Plant Operations Manager and CEO
• Manage and mentor QC Technicians
• Own and implement our QA Program
• Lead audits and ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, HACCP, SQF, pest control, and federal requirements
• Conduct product safety and quality testing
• Maintain documentation, calibration records, and Hold/Release procedures
• Guide corrective actions and verify HACCP monitoring
• Develop training programs on GMPs, food safety, and regulations
• Investigate complaints, manage NCRs, and collaborate on solutions
• Foster cross-departmental quality alignment

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering
• 5–8 years of experience in food safety and quality management
• Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, microbiology, and chemical testing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Genesis software
• Certifications: SQF Practitioner (required), PCQI, HACCP
• Bilingual in English/Spanish
• Audit experience and leadership skills
