Description

Pharmcare USA is part of a leading LTC pharmacy company. We are seeking a knowledgeable, energetic, full-time pharmacist to join our team as an Assistant Pharmacy Director in Denver, CO.

The desired candidate will oversee all day-to-day pharmacy operations and manage a highly trained staff. The ideal candidate has pharmacy management skills, communication skills, clinical pharmacy expertise, and a congenial personality. Experience in long-term care pharmacy, assisted living, and hospice is preferred but not required.

Compensation is commensurate with experience, with benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Life Insurance, FSA/HSA, Paid Time Off, and Holidays for full-time employees.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Minimum BS in Pharmacy; Doctorate preferred
• Active pharmacist license in the state(s) of operation
• Judgment and decision-making skills
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Proficiency in computer systems for prescription entry
• Strong math skills for inventory and cost management
• Critical thinking abilities

Physical Demands:

• Ability to remain stationary or move within the pharmacy as needed
• Operate office equipment continuously
• Effective communication skills
• Visual acuity for medication recognition and accuracy
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Tolerance to office environment and medication exposure
