Overview

The Manager Quality Engineering provides guidance to a team of Quality Engineers and Product Reliability Techs on quality requirements. This involves working with other departments and reviewing the product manufacturing process to improve product quality.

ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead a team of Quality Engineers and Product Reliability Techs to review product manufacturing processes to ensure quality requirements are met.
  • Create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc.; work with other departments to improve product quality and reduce cost.
  • Identify manufacturing-related quality issues, implement quality improvement projects and participate in quality activities.
  • Assist with development and implementation of internal and supplier quality audits.
  • Provide training on quality requirements to production and support personnel.
  • Create and maintain company-wide product quality standards based on customer requirements.
  • Provide quality engineering insight and guidance on product development, product improvement and process improvement projects.
  • Monitor, control and improve supplier quality performance.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in people management.
  • Minimum six (6) years of experience in manufacturing or quality or combination of the both.
    • OR Masters Degree: Minimum two (2) years of experience in people management. Minimum six (6) years of experience in field.
  • Three (3) years of experience in Statistical Process Control Analysis (Preferred).
  • Familiar with AS9100 and/or ISO9001.
  • Knowledge of IPC, MIL-PRF-38535 and Regulatory Requirements.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.
  • Pay Range: $110,800 - $139,000 annually. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
