• Review drawings and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates
• Perform quantity takeoffs and solicit bids from subcontractors and suppliers
• Develop budgets and proposals for competitive and negotiated projects
• Identify constructability issues and cost-saving alternatives during preconstruction
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and clients throughout the process
• Maintain organized estimate files and update historical cost data

Qualifications

• 2+ years of estimating experience in the commercial construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction documents and methods
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, but not required
